I know, how about things like housing, automobiles, home improvement, clothing, education, and real entertainment venues, the kind that don’t ‘BREED’ their patrons into gambling degenerates who end up criminals.
Bucks County Courier - June 16, 2014 - PA Gaming Board announces May casino revenues
Revenue from table games at Pennsylvania casinos during May 2014 was up 2.3% over revenue in May 2013, according to a report the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted Monday on its website.
May's gross table games revenue generated by the 12 casinos was $64,176,092, which is $1,417,594 higher than the May 2013 revenue. With an average of 1,091 tables open each day, tax revenue produced in May 2014 was $9,231,300.
Locally, Parx Casino in Bensalem had gross revenue of $10,755,652 from its 148 tables last month, compared to $10,128,410 from the 165 tables that were operating in May 2013. Valley Forge Casino Resort had gross revenue of $2,942,435 from its 50 tables last month, compared to $3,268,253 for the same number of tables in May 2013.
Coupled with figures on May slot machine revenue, overall statewide gross revenue from slots and tables was $275,006,769 in May 2014, slightly higher than the $274,003,634 generated in May 2013.
