• Come to the selectmen's forum on the Host Community Agreement on Thursday, September 5th at 7p.m. at the Wood School. If you can join us to hold signs before the forum, please contact us: info@noplainvilleracino.com. Or just join us when you arrive. Wear RED if you can.
• Come to No Plainville Racino's forum on Sunday, September 8th at the Senior Center, from 4-6 p.m.
Les Bernal, founder of of Stop Predatory Gambling, and former CT congressman Robert Steele, author of "The Curse: Big-Time Gambling’s Seduction of a Small New England Town," will be guest speakers at a community forum about the potential impact of slots on Plainville. Children are welcome.
• VOTE NO on September 10th. The polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Get everyone you know to go the the polls and VOTE NO.
We need the people of Plainville to stand up and defend our town against expanded gambling. Don't be filled with regret on September 11th for what might have been.
Plainville can't gamble its way out of fiscal problems. It's a bad bet.
