The Campaign Heats Up

Good evening,

It was a busy week on the campaign trail. We're beginning to see just how hard our opposition will work to win. Hint: They'll do whatever it takes. Even overriding the will of the people.

Launching their campaign this week, Protect Mass Jobs opened up their playbook for all to see. They're going to do their best to hide what this campaign is really about. Casinos. But, we won't let them.

We shouldn't be surprised. Casino bosses are plowing ahead in Plainville despite calls to wait until the voters have had their say this November. They're even making plans to keep fighting after the election.

This fall, we have the opportunity to stand up to the casino industry by voting yes on Question 3. But, it's going to take each of us. Last weekend, we had two dozen canvassers out on the doors and more than a dozen phone bankers. That's a great start, but we need you now.
