The Commission is requesting public comment on whether it should allow for a transfer of the host community agreement to occur between the previous ownership of Plainridge Racecourse and current slots-parlor applicant, Penn National....
Please submit your written comments via email no later than September 6, 2013 at 10:00am. Written comments may be submitted by sending an email to mgccomments@state.ma.us with ‘Plainridge Racecourse’ in the subject line.
In addition, interested parties who wish to address the Commission on this matter may designate one representative from the group to speak at this meeting. The Commission requests that the selected representative sign-up immediately prior to the meeting at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Individuals will be allowed five (5) minutes to speak. Speakers should limit their comments to the question before the Commission-whether the Commission should allow for a transfer of the host community agreement.
