What an excellent article and Amy Ziettlow has hit a very worrisome issue right on the head...casinos are becoming our new senior citizens centres! All at no [official] cost to governments! The predators are governments, as much as the predatory industries they are protecting! I dream of the day when all citizens will stand up and refuse to vote in any elections, until we get 'responsible political leaders' as candidates!

It's actually quite amusing how these senior citizens care on how we spend our money but worry less on how much they have already spend on the casino. Then again, it's quite sad that these elderly people don't have anyone else to spend their time with that they choose to spend time at the casinos instead.

Serge, Quite right!

It's always disappointing that seniors can't find worthwhile things to do with their time....maybe teach a kid to read?
