No matter what language, it's still funny!
Too much has been written in the past to address this hallucination by the
Aquinnah!
This seems to indicate:
1. The Tribe has no $$$
2. The Tribe has no partner
3. The Tribe hasn't figured out that they need to fund the votes they have requested in the 3 towns, along with the costs to negotiate agreements
4. The Tribe has a Settlement Agreement which tethers their options on the Vineyard
Has everyone forgotten that they couldn't even build a shed without a permit?
5. The Tribe needs to produce signed options to purchase the land they have already submitted
Then there's that pesky little
SCOTUS Hawaii decision and a few other legal matters.
Ooops!
The Tribe has destroyed its credibility with this one!
Tribe seeks to build casino on Martha's Vineyard

The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) has asked the governor to negotiate a compact allowing a casino on its tribal land on Martha's Vineyard.
The tribe, which also is pursuing casino developments in Fall River, Freetown and Lakeville, launched a new website today on which it said: “There is no legal impediment for us to open a casino on our trust land."
“The tribe currently holds land in trust on Martha's Vineyard for economic development and we would consider that option. Martha's Vineyard is a very popular tourist destination that could certainly support a smaller-scale casino.”
Tribal leaders and spokesmen did not immediately respond to requests for additional comment.
