URGENT! ATTENTION PLAINVILLE
RESIDENTS!
(And residents of surrounding towns, as
well.)
The
Plainville Planning Board will meet at 7PM on Monday, July 15th at the
Plainville Senior Center Lower Level, to continue the public hearing about
adding slots at Plainridge.
Please! Please! Please! Come to the
meeting to voice your concerns about slots at Plainridge, traffic issues,
property values, noise, light, crime, mitigation, impact on small businesses,
etc...
This is probably our last chance to ask
the Planning Board to make this special permit as tight and limited as possible.
They really do have some power to try to protect us and the town.
Please don't squander this opportunity. Once the slots are there,
they're there forever, and we won't get another say.
There was one resident expressing any
concern about slots — ONLY ONE — at the meeting of the Board of Selectmen when
they were considering the Host Community Agreement, so word around town is that
everyone in town (except that one Moonbat - me) wants slots and isn't worried
about the fallout. PLEASE use this opportunity to tell them they're
wrong.
