July 22, 2013 With Caesars / Suffolk Downs spending millions to influence votes in East Boston, how will your donation help? Every little bit helps. Consider: $2 pays for 40 phone calls to neighbors from one phone. $5 pays for one window/yard sign. (below) Could you buy signs for your entire block? $10 pays for 2 hours of door-knocking / flyering. $50 pays for one visibility in Maverick or Central Square. $100 pays for a roundtable meeting with community leaders. $500 helps defray the weekly cost of a No Eastie Casino organizer We appreciate your help in assisting No Eastie Casino in raising $12,000 before September 1 to defeat the casino proposal here.
