Casinos increase the transient population.
Middle and upper classes earners move out. Low-wage casino workers move in. Some
choose to live in dorm-like arrangements where they take shifts sleeping in the
same beds (this is called "hot-bunking"). They ruin neighborhoods and
communities and scare potential new residents away, lowering property values
even further.
