Six arrested in credit card scam at San Diego County casinos
Six people were arrested early Saturday on suspicion of being members of a ring targeting Indian casinos in San Diego County with a scam using stolen or counterfeit credit cards, the county Sheriff's Department said.
The crew used the cards to get money from ATMs and casino cashiers, the department said. The scam occurred over two months and included "multiple fraudulent transactions," said Sgt. Darryl Kimball.
The arrests were made around 3 a.m. at Pala Casino, where casino security officers had detained the six.
Arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft and forgery were Ali Qadir Aljadir, 33, of Los Angeles; Dan David Enriquez, 27, of Baldwin Park; Sarah Howbert, 26, of Chino; Josephine Chai, 27, of Hacienda Heights; Tracy Ser, 34, of Rowland Heights; and Keith Shigetomi, 34, of Rowland Heights.
Bail for each was set at $1 million.

PALA, Calif. -- Authorities have arrested six suspected members of a fraud ring that uses fake credit cards to get cash advances from Indian casinos in San Diego County.
Sheriff's Sgt. Darryl Kimball said investigators believe the suspects, who were arrested at Pala Casino early Saturday, used the cards and stolen credit card numbers to get money from ATM machines and casino cashiers. He said the scam occurred over the past two months in northern San Diego County and included multiple fraudulent transactions.
The suspects were arrested for investigation of burglary, theft and forgery.
Bail for each was set at $1 million.
