Massachusetts taxpayers haven't
figured out that the 'infrastructure improvements' required for a
Genting/Mashpee Wampanoag/Taunton Monster will take on the proportions of the Big Dig!
But Rally Round, Folks!
Governor Slot Barns spent your tax dollars hiring a DC lobbyist to support a wealthy Malaysian
investor, Genting, hoping to suck
discretionary dollars from the regional Taunton economy.
The 'Tribe' pretended a fairy tale --
even though the 'federal
application' was submitted June 4th, before the June 9th vote,
INCOMPLETE --
TO BE
SUBMITTED
TO BE SUBMITTED
TO BE SUBMITTED
This is not a joke! Well....maybe it is! Posted here:
Governor Slot Barns hired a lobbyist for a Malaysian investor, Genting. [This isn't about a Tribe. This is about wealthy investors.]
From Professor Kindt:
...the city of Chicago is the
most corrupt area in the U.S.
Disturbed by the spreading
political corruption accompanying legalized gambling, U.S. Sen. Paul Simon
sponsored the bipartisan U.S. National Gambling Impact Study Commission. The
panel’s final report called for a moratorium on the expansion of any type of
gambling anywhere in the country, and the commission included recommendations
for stringent curbs on campaign contributions, the recriminalization of
slots/electronic gambling machines convenient to the public, and continued
prohibitions on creating racetrack casinos.
The state of Virginia rejected casinos during
the same time frame that Illinois authorized its first 10 casinos. Virginia now
has a surplus, while the Illinois budget is the nation’s
worst.
Much like Massachusetts, Maryland believed the phony projections -
Good news for Palmer [Dumb
location!]:
Is it simply stupidity or
corruption? When is it time to change this?
