State Rep. Mauree Gingrich, chairman of the House Gaming Oversight Committee, will hold an informational meeting on problem gambling issues next week.
The committee will hear testimony beginning at 9:30 a.m. Monday from several professionals who encounter problem gambling and what they do to address it.
Participating in the meeting will be Gingrich; members of the committee; Elizabeth Lanza, director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Office of Compulsive and Problem Gambling; Jim Pappas, executive director of the Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania; Jennifer Shatley, vice president of Responsible Gambling Policy and Compliance at Caesar's Entertainment and Operating Co.; and C.P. Mirachi, a counselor who deals with gambling addiction.
Gingrich is a Republican from Lebanon County.
