Defeating Facebook Casinos

Last Tuesday, Stop Predatory Gambling released its Fact Sheet about the serious and powerful push underway by some in Congress to introduce "Facebook casinos" across the U.S. during its current lame duck session. Thank you to all of you of who took action and shared it with your federal representatives, regional media and friends. I'm pleased to tell you that on Friday, the proponents of internet casinos announced they were dropping their efforts for 2012. Our nation does not need more public policies that lead us to care less about each other. The defeat of internet casinos is one small step in the right direction.
