WINSLOW TWP. — A Waterford Township man has been tied to 13 burglaries in four Camden County towns, crimes he allegedly committed to feed a gambling addiction, police said Monday.
Kenneth Thurston, 59, whose last known address was the Green Acres Motel, is accused of six burglaries in Berlin, four in Waterford, two in Winslow and one in Barrington.
He was arrested July 12 while breaking into a Barrington home during the day. Winslow police said he stole jewelry from homes in Hay Road and Center Avenue in the township.
He pawned what he stole to support his gambling problem, police said.
