MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- Country Crossing casino lobbyist Jarrod Massey is scheduled for his ninth and possibly last day on the witness stand in Alabama's gambling corruption trial.
He is scheduled for questioning Tuesday morning by lawyers for some of the nine defendants.
Massey has pleaded guilty to offering bribes to legislators. He's been testifying since July 7.
Massey testified Monday that indicted VictoryLand casino owner Milton McGregor was an active participant in a meeting where Massey and Country Crossing casino developer Ronnie Gilley offered bribes to a legislator in February 2010. He said two indicted senators,
Republican Jim Preuitt and Democrat Quinton Ross, never told him their votes for pro-gambling legislation hinged on getting donations.
Ross' attorney, Lewis Gillis, said Massey's testimony was significantly different from what he told investigators last fall.
