MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) - A hearing is set for Saturday afternoon in the federal gambling corruption trial.
The federal judge will hear arguments on the state's motion to quash subpoenas to testify or to limit the scope of discovery.
The hearing is set for two o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Frank Johnson Federal Building in Montgomery.
It will be held a day after opening statements in the case of nine defendants accused of peddling influence on a gambling bill before the state legislature in 2010.
