The Old Plainridge Bait and Switch
Remember when we were being admonished by the Plainville selectmen, Ourway/Plainridge, town administrator Joe Fernandes, and local gambling proponents not to worry about the little "racino" because it would "ONLY be 1,250 slot machines," and, after all, "IT WON'T BE A CASINO!"
Well, guess what Penn National will call the new facility if they get the slots license:
THE PLAINRIDGE PARK CASINO!
