Pair Faces Up To 50 More Years In Prison

RISING SUN, Ind. — WLWT.com

Two men convicted in Ohio of robbing casino winners were found guilty of similar crimes in Indiana.

Kenyatta Erkins and Ugbe Ojile were convicted Thursday in Ohio County of conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in serious bodily harm.

The pair faces up to 50 years in prison when they are sentenced April 13.

Ojile was sentenced in October to 35 years in prison and Erkins was sentenced to 30 years.

An accomplice, Amy Hoover, pleaded guilty and testified against both men. She did not take part in the Indiana trial.

The trio was accused of following winners home from Indiana riverboat casinos and robbing them at gunpoint, taking more than $100,000 in more than two dozen robberies.
