Sands ready to spend billions in Spain




Massachusetts ‘Gaming’ Future

Could it be the casino monthly statements legislation that’s in the Massachusetts Gaming Law and the possibility of that law being put in the Pennsylvania Gaming Law this year that’s keeping the Sands Casino owner Sheldon Adelson from opening a casino in Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio, and selling his Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem Pa.

These statements would enable gamblers and their family members to spot a loved one's gambling problem before it gets out of hand. Who knows how many casino patrons and their loved ones would be in a better domestic and financial situation when being made aware, month after month, of their wins and mostly LOSSES in black and white.

Company that owns Bethlehem casino plans $9.8 billion four-resort complex near Madrid.

As Las Vegas Sands tries to sell its casino in Bethlehem, it's looking to build one more that 10 times the size in Europe.

 Proud, but not looking to replicate it anywhere else, according to industry analysts who say Sands' actions have made that clear.

Since Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem opened four years ago, the company has had a chance to spread the model to other states, but decided against jumping into gambling expansion in Maryland, Ohio and Massachusetts.
