Reason #21 to VOTE NO SLOTS: Gambling venues have an “unambiguously negative impact” on property values.
Economists at the National Association of Realtors call the impact of casinos (a “racino” is simply a RACetrack casINO) on a housing market "unambiguously negative." A casino would sap 1.1 to 2.3 percent of home values in the host community.
VOTE NO SLOTS on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th. The polls are open 8am to 8pm.
