"Tell the Mayor: A Casino in Boston is Bad for our City!"

Mayors and city leaders have a huge amount of power in standing up against casino operators.

Holyoke's mayor refused to negotiate with casino companies that wanted to build there, essentially blocking them from that city.

And as we all remember, Foxboro's board of selectmen played a huge role in keeping a casino out.

Mayor Menino can stop a casino from coming to Boston, plain and simple, but he needs to hear from thousands of his constituents.

I've revamped the petition and targeted it more to the mayor.

But we need residents of Boston (not just East Boston) to sign this petition and contact the mayor's office directly. (info below on how to do that)

Share this on your Facebook wall ... Tweet it ... email it to your friends ... talk it up with people in person.

Thank you again for your support!

The opposition movement is really ramping up.

Stay tuned for more ways you can help us this fall.

One more thing: FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO 10 BOSTON FRIENDS/NEIGHBORS. =)

Best,

Steve for No Eastie Casino
