Atlantic City Prostitution: Higher Wages than Casinos

Look to Atlantic City if you want to know what Predatory Gambling brings: increased crime, poverty, unemployment, homelessness, community destruction.....you know the list and it includes prostitution.

This is NOT job creation [except for low wage jobs]. This is NOT economic development, unless you think SLUMS are economic development.

16 people arrested in Atlantic City prostitution sting

Atlantic City police said 15 females and 1 male were arrested as part of a prostition sting at various locations along Pacific Avenue and at casino hotels on Friday night and Saturday morning.

 

The Atlantic City Police Department in conjunction with the FBI Innocence Lost Task Force and members of Immigration Customs Enforcement) conducted the prostitution operation targeting street-level prostitutes.

 

All 16 arrested were charged with engaging in prostitution and placed in the Atlantic County jail on bails ranging from $1,000 to $2,500. Additionally, three of the females arrested were wanted on contempt of court charges.

Kamil Brown, 18, of Elizabeth, Union County
Beverly Patterson, 53, of Lawnside, Camden County
Lauren Catrambone, 23, of Atlantic City
Melody Champagne, 29, of Barstow, Calif.
Christina Nikitich, 22, of South Amboy, Middlesex County
Hattia Thomas, 22, of Newark
Juanita Veney, 34, of Pleasantville
Shamika Reese, 24, of Atlantic City
Patricia Sabb, 44, of Absecon
Chenay Brown, 21, of Antioch City, Calif.
