Gambler loses appeal bid to recover lost money from Crown Casino

A GAMBLER who turned over nearly $1.5 billion at Crown in just 14 months has lost again in his bid to recover more than $20 million in losses from the casino.
The Court of Appeal today threw out an appeal by Gold Coast property developer Harry Kakavas, who claimed that Crown took advantage of his pathological gambling addiction to lure him to its gaming tables.
