The Predatory Gambling legislation crafted by the Gambling Industry, allowed the
Gambling Commission 'discretion' to conduct background checks.
Since the Gambling Industry has historically been known as corrupt, widely
tied to organized crime, money laundering and loan sharking, after the McGee
disaster, this clearly required correction.
The legislature immediately acted to correct this flaw, yet the Governor
vetoed it - endorsing the future corruption and potential disasters to come.
Discretion has no place in this matter.
