No longer what it seemed!

Although the Connecticut Tribal Casinos still managed to suck massive amounts from the economy, declining revenues are caused by Gambling Market Saturation - you can only drain so much discretionary income, there are only so many NEW Gamblers and NEW Gambling Addicts.

REPEAL THE CASINO DEAL is the only sensible solution!

This isn't a 'get rich quick' scheme.

HARTFORD, Conn. — Connecticut's two tribal-owned casinos are reporting declines of more than 8 percent in slot machine revenue.

Foxwoods Resort Casino saw revenue fall 8.9 percent last month compared with January 2013, and Mohegan Sun had a decline of 8.3 percent. Revenue is the share of wagers the casinos keep.
The total slot revenue was $37.1 million in January at Foxwoods and $43.2 million at Mohegan Sun.

Foxwoods president and chief executive officer Scott Butera says weather has continued to be a factor but the casino is beginning to see more consistency in the numbers.
The two casinos, which contribute 25 percent of their slot revenue to the state of Connecticut each month, face intense competition in the Northeast as more casinos are being planned and built.

In Massachusetts, both Foxwoods, in Fall River, and Mohegan Sun, at Suffolk Downs in Revere, are competing for casino resort licenses.
