The Indiana bill that would put table games at the state’s two racetrack slots parlors was amended Thursday to give it a better shot of passage, according to an Indianapolis Star story. It sounds like there may be a Senate vote on the bill Monday.
The change in SB 528 restores some of the money that local casino communities get that the bill originally would have cut even further.
The bill would allow table games at the racinos in addition to letting existing riverboat casinos move to land. The larger intent is to make Indiana’s gambling industry more competitive as Ohio’s expands.
