Will Wampanoag-Genting campaign cash be disclosed or will veil of Indian Tribe sovereignty mask their donations? Will this include lobbyist contributions to local officials as well? Tribe approved $500,000 for Taunton election, $300,000 was reported but public disclosures didn't reveal where the Tribe got that money (since it has no income of it's own).
And what of Mayor Menino and Senator Petrucelli who both have 'charities' to avoid public scrutiny and public disclosure?
Not only do the 'charities' escape campaign contribution limits, but donors also get the tax advantage.

New campaign and political finance regulations will shed light on some of the behind-the-scenes maneuvering to curry political favor in the high-stakes race to build resort casinos in Massachusetts.
Gambling license applicants’ contributions to the municipalities that would host casinos — in addition to political contributions made by license holders — must be disclosed and posted online by cities and towns within seven days of two annual filing dates.
“For matters that we have said are of public concern, they should be posted quickly and in the most transparent way possible,” said Janet Domenitz, executive director of the MassPIRG advocacy group.
“The polls have shown time and again that the public wants more information on political contributions, not less.”
The Gaming Commission likely will follow suit by sharing the donation data on its own website.
“Given the commission’s commitment to being open and transparent, and also having a website that is a comprehensive portal of information for the community, such a posting would be likely,” spokeswoman Elaine Driscoll said.
The expanded gambling bill signed into law last November requires the state Office of Campaign and Political Finance to create regulations on timely public reporting of the contributions. The law prohibits gambling license holders from donating more than $200 each in a calendar year to any one political candidate or committee.
WHICH BOTH MAYOR MENINO AND SENATOR PETRUCELLI CIRCUMVENTED WITH THEIR 'CHARITIES.'
A public hearing on the proposed rules is set for July 25.
