There is no greater Casino Cheerleader than Paul Bruns who ignored the citizens' study report indicating the annual cost to host Mohegan Sun would be $18 million to $39 million.

Never Let The Facts Inform Your Decision, Mr. Burns!

And who will pay the cost of ~ $50 million to bring water from the Quabbin? Massachusetts taxpayers?

Mohegan Sun's revenues are declining even as they are surrounded by debt.







Mass. council invited to forum in Palmer

Palmer, Mass., Town Council President Paul Burns, who is working with Mohegan Sun to bring a resort casino to his town, has invited the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to conduct a “community mitigation” forum related to the casino project.

A June 25 letter from Burns to the commission asks for a forum similar to a recent one held in Worcester, Mass.

A Mohegan Sun spokeswoman couldn’t be reached for comment.
