One might conclude that if passenger air traffic is 'weak' and gambling revenues have increased that:
1. gambling doesn't increase tourism (which has been proven elsewhere)
2. gambling revenues originate locally and are sucking discretionary income from the local economy
Isn't that what we've been saying?

"Our Index provided mixed results in the fourth quarter, with gains in hotel occupancy and casino revenues offset by weaker passenger air traffic," said Dana Johnson, Chief Economist at Comerica Bank.
