CAMERON Smith admits the Melbourne Storm failed to identify Ryan Tandy's gambling problem during his time at the club.
Smith said if the Storm had known that the player at the centre of the NRL's betting scandal had an issue with gambling, they would have tried to help.

It has been an open secret that Tandy has a gambling addiction but the Bulldogs prop has denied any involvement in match-fixing.
