The Associated Press - May 15, 2013 - Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh fined $100K

PITTSBURGH - Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh has been fined $100,000 by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
...
The gaming board says in a Wednesday release that the fine involved three issues.

The first was a violation of internal controls in the count room. The second involved table games employees who ignored an automatic shuffler's red light which indicates an error with the cards. The third was for promotional items that were mailed to 93 people who had asked not to receive such material.

The gaming board says the company agreed to the fines in a consent agreement.

Rivers Casino spokesman Jack Horner says they respect the decisions of the gaming board and have introduced new internal procedures to help prevent reoccurrences.
