The Palmer Citizens Casino Study Committee determined that hosting Mohegan Sun would cost the small town of Palmer $18 MILLION to $39 MILLION per year.
That doesn't include the $50 MILLION to bring water from the Quabbin.
Those municipal costs don't include the low income housing, increased crime, gambling addiction and much else.
