So there is a glimpse of the future that Young Andy Cuomo, Sheldon Silver and Dean Skelos have in store for us here in New York State if this cock-a-mamie plan to restore casino gambling to New York goes through ....

And it is also a glimpse at all the pure BULL**** Young Andy is shoveling at us when he tells us how good casino gambling is going to be for NYS ....

If that were so, then Las Vegas should never have felt the recession ....

In fact, however, it led the entire nation until last October with 22 months in a row as the city with the highest foreclosure rate, and as of Nov. 29, 2011, according to S&P/Case-Shiller, Las Vegas registered new lows in housing prices ...

And so ...

And what about Las Vegas

And what about Las Vegas today, then?

If casino gambling is all that Young Andy Cuomo and Sheldon Silver and Dean Skelos say it is, why, Las Vegas must be BOOMING!

Home prices were down 7.3 percent in November compared to a year before, according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.

That means the median price dropped from $134,900 to $125,000 in one year.

Among cities with more than 1 million residents, Las Vegas reported the highest jobless rate, at 14.5 percent.

That was up from 14.1 percent in May.

IF casino gambling was such a panacea for the deficit-plagued state desperately in need of new revenue and job creation, then why are we reading news like this concerning that MECCA for gamblers, Las Vegas:

Not quite.

Despite four years of falling prices and recent signs that they were finally bottoming out, homes are expected to lose still more value in many metro areas over the next year.

Parts of the country already pummeled by the housing crisis, like Las Vegas, Phoenix and Miami, will be hit hardest.

The other thing on my mind right now is Young Andy Cuomo's plan to bring casino gambling into NYS ....

As stated earlier, Young Andy has one of his "advocacy groups", acting as if they are "champions of democracy", out with a glitzy radio commecial on behalf of Young Andy's efforts to bring in a gambling concern to NYS from MALAYSIA .....

What Young Andy is telling us, through this "advocacy group" fronting for him, is that by bringing in this group from MALAYSIA (where in the USA is MALAYSIA, pray tell?) to operate these casinos Young Andy is so hot to have in NYS, that somehow, that is going to "restore lost revenue" to NYS ....

And what a full load of hog crap that is .....

That group from MALAYSIA is going to act as a great big HOOVER vacumn cleaner, sucking money out of NYS, and out of the United States, and we will be left holding the bag .....

That money sucked out of NYS and over to MALAYSIA by this gambling operation won't make it back to here in our lifetimes ...

Those dudes in MALAYSIA will be getting rich and fat and happy, while we head towards third-world status over here ....

But the slickster politician Young Andy Cuomo thinks we are too stupid to realize that ....

And a Quinnipiac University survey, by Quinnipiac pollster Maurice "Mickey" Carroll, says that a whopping 64% of state voters – and 65% of city voters - are ....

Which makes them putty in Young Andy's hands ....

As the rich dudes running these casinos say, "there are millions of suckers born in America every day" ....
