Heroin ring suspect is also sex offender

One of four suspects busted for his role in a local heroin ring is a sex offender with a long history of prior convictions.

Dwayne W. Wyche, 40, had been off probation just two months when he was arrested for his latest crimes.

Undercover officers were able to locate him at the casino, follow him to a rented storage unit and then to his house before he delivered the drugs, according to an affidavit filed by undercover officers.

On one occasion a drug customer was told that Wyche was playing in a card tournament at the Soaring Eagle Casino and would deliver heroin when he was done.
