State Rep. Christine Canavan, D-Brockton, and Matthew
Albanese of West Bridgewater are vying for the Democratic nomination to run for state representative for the 10th Plymouth District which includes Precinct 3 in Easton.
Q: Explain your stance on legalized gambling in Massachusetts.
Albanese: “I have always been a strong supporter of both destination
resort casinos and racinos because I think it will provide an economic boost to the Metro South region.”
Canavan: “I have always voted for casinos and racinos. Money from racinos would have gone to local aid and we could us that. I also have constituents that used to work at the Raynham dog track.”
