Lottery Addict Pleads Guilty

Richard Bassik faces up to fifteen years in jail for stealing more than $2.3 million to cover his gambling addiction and his upper-class lifestyle.

The sixty-seven year old man admitted to stealing from nineteen buildings that were under his control as a property manager.

He stole quantities of money from their accounts while claiming they were either mistakes or hiding it altogether. He had high credit card bills as well as a gambling addiction that he has now admitted too.

He needed the funds to pay off
his many debts and provide him with his high class lifestyle. Bassik commonly stayed in five star hotels and dressed exceptionally well for his level of income.
