The
Casino Generation is Aging Out:
Young
people don't gamble like their parents or grandparents did. Over
time, the effect of this demographic change will take a serious toll on
casinos. Profits will drop. Tax revenues will
decrease. Jobs will be eliminated. It's already
happening at casinos everywhere and the effects can be seen in casino failures,
cut-backs and bailouts. This is an industry in decline.
And taxpayers are being called upon to pay for
it.
