A roulette dealer at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem was arrested on theft charges after trying to pocket $600 from the table during his shift, according to state police.
David H. Greger, 46, of 157 E. Wyomissing Ave., Mohnton, allegedly rolled six, $100 bills into his fist by manipulating the paddle used to push money into the drop box at the table during his Dec. 30 shift, state police said. He then placed the money into a pants pocket and left the casino with the money, state police said.
Greger was taken into custody and charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking. He was released under $2,500 unsecured bail after being arraigned by District Judge Diane M. Marakovits.
