We've mostly ignored our care and treatment of horses. We've ignored the drugging, injuries and deaths of horses.
We pretend that taxpayer subsidies of horse racing makes sense, with no debate.
We pretend that preservation of the Dead Horse Racing Industry is justified, no questions asked.
Maybe it's time for dialog.
