Casino disguise didn't wash

SARNIA - A gambling addict who donned a disguise to sneak into the Point Edward casino has been sentenced to 90 days of house arrest.
CindyLee Leblanc, 52, of Petrolia, pled guilty to impersonation and violating a trespass order on May 27 and was sentenced Wednesday in Sarnia court.
Leblanc had a repeat record of trespass violations at the casino, and even placed herself under a "no-entry" order.
But in May she believed she was ready to return to gambling. She disguised herself in a blonde wig and glasses, and when approached by an OPP officer on the gaming floor she claimed to be someone else.
Her true identity was quickly discovered.
Leblanc had been making progress on her gambling addiction, the court was told.
Assistant Crown attorney Suzanne LaSha requested jail time, citing Leblanc's record for trespassing and her once having invited an official to "catch me if you can."
In addition to the house arrest she was fined $250 for the trespass conviction and placed on 18 months probation, when she must take counselling.
