Plentiful Low Wage Jobs Offered in CT Force Hot Bedding

The Spectrum Report is available in its entirety on the United to Stop Slots in Massachusetts web site.

The proposal crafted behind closed doors by Speaker "Racino" DeLeo lays the groundwork for plentiful low wage, dead end jobs, just as Mohegan Sun offered in CT that forced workers to accept substandard housing.

(Please note that Spectrum was only asked to consider communities within a 10 mile radius. The impacts on the state are far greater than that.)

Mohegan Sun in hot pursuit of a casino in Palmer, says anything that sounds good.

Consider their performance in Connecticut -

plentiful low wage jobs!

Substandard housing, illegal conversions –– casino workers

With many casino workers
unable to afford housing
in southeastern Connecticut, some landlords have converted single-family homes into boarding facilities. The practice is not only illegal, it is unsafe as well.
